Colorado and New Mexico Adventure - 5 Days
Day 1
Arrive in Denver and transfer to Colorado Springs area.
Travel by bus to the top of Pike's Peak, the most visited mountain in all of North America.
At 14,110 feet we will stop to take pictures and tour the visitor’s center.
Take in the spectacular sandstone rock formations against a backdrop of the snowcapped Pike’s Peak with a Garden of the Gods tour.
Day 2
Travel to Canon City south of Colorado Springs and spend a full day at Royal Gorge Bridge & Park.
Cross the world’s highest bridge!
Activities include the Ariel Tram, incline railroad, and the Wapiti Western Wildlife Park
Day 3
Travel west across the Colorado Rockies to the Durango area.
Stop at the Chimney Rock Anasazi Ruins along the way.
All aboard for a fun day of adventure!
Travel on the Durango Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad.
Mesa Verde National Park
Day 4
Morning horseback riding excursion!
Cross into New Mexico and visit the Aztec Ruins National Monument.
Explore Indian ruins and discuss local geology and Native American Culture.
Continue south to the Salmon Ruins.
Depart in the afternoon for Albuquerque.
Evening city tour.
Day 5
Free time in historic Old Town.
Visit to the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center.
Ride the longest tramway in the world to the top of Sandia Peak.
Depart for home from Albuquerque!
